Skip Stine 

Skip Stine is a graduate of the United States Naval School of Music.  In the 1960’s, he played with numerous bands throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe including Si Zenter, Buddy Morrow, and the Sammy Spear Orchestra for the Jackie Gleason Show. Also, during this time he worked for such artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, and Johnny Mathis, and practically every major singer/entertainer of the 60’s. 

 

In the late 1960’s, Skip joined the Harry James Orchestra traveling throughout the United States and Europe appearing with them on numerous TV and recording dates.  After a stint at the famed Harrah’s Hotel in Reno, Nevada, Skip returned to Central Pennsylvania and has continued his musical career as a teacher and playing with the orchestras at Hershey Theater, Hersheypark Arena, guest artist with the Reading Pops Orchestra, and fronting his own 18 piece big band in concert form.
